I may be auditioning for The Diary of Anne Frank. In the play, what are the major characters?
The director told me he wanted me to audition but the producer of the show says I am too tall to play Anne Frank but if they can’t find anyone else they may use me for the role. I still want to be in the show because I think it is a very interesting story but I think at my age the only other role is margot. What is Margot’s character like and is she important to the story or the show?
Margot is the older more mature sister. She plays a very important part. She was in the annex with Anne and Peter too. There is also the lady that brought them food and other things although I don’t remember her name at the moment. Just remember the old saying "There are no bit parts just bit actors."
anne frank is of course a big character. you should be her
