   I have used this "Advance Diary" program, But searching on the internet shows this is shareware, the one I have (which I think is older) was free.
   just go to http://www.download.com and search for diary.

   I don’t know much about diary software, but there’s a lot of free downloads on download.com and I’m sure you could find something there. There’s user reviews and all that fun stuff and they’ll tell you if it’s free or just free to try. A lot of stuff is free though.
