An SS Sergeant, Karl Josef Silberbauer, and some Dutch members of the Security Polive went in and captured the 8 in the Annexe, and two of their helpers. Its not known who tipped them off. All of the people from the Annexe died in the concentration camps except for Otto Frank, Anne's father.
